Big skies, muddy trails, soft fur, and deep love
Working with Kim was such a joy. She beautifully captured Nala’s personality and truly brought out the best in her. My family and I will treasure these photos forever. - Kelly
For Those Who Follow Their Dog Anywhere

You know the feeling.
Nose down, tail up, she’s already ahead on the trail again, completely unconcerned that you’re still catching your breath.
She reaches the water first and turns to make sure you see her, eyes bright, pausing briefly…
.....before plunging straight into the muddy depths.

I create custom artwork of dogs for the people who follow them anywhere.
   Relax... We Got This
The best images often happen when your dog is simply enjoying the moment.
Photo sessions are relaxed, and usually set in outdoor spaces: hiking trails, summits, coastlines, lakes, and wild edges, including places where the landscape meets urban life and your dog feels at home.
There’s no pressure for dogs to perform or behave in a particular way, and no special training needed. Most dogs need to stay on-leash for safety or comfort for some or all of the session, and that's completely welcome.
The experience is designed to feel calm, considered, and easy, from first inquiry through final artwork.

Is This a Good Fit?
I create cinematic portraits of dogs for people who enjoy spending time outdoors with their dogs, in any kind of weather, and are drawn to natural, understated imagery. I'd love to join you on your favourite hike or stay out late for something special after the sun goes down.
If you’re looking for studio portraits or highly stylized editing, this may not be the right fit, and that’s okay. There are many talented pet photographers in Vancouver who work in different styles and it matters to find someone whose aesthetic fits.
Working With Rescue Organizations
Running a rescue organization is hard work. Small teams, limited funding, and an endless to-do list. I understand the nonprofit world well - I spent nearly a decade running a small charity which I built from the ground up.
Adopting a rescue is a big part of why I picked up a camera in the first place, and I like giving back in ways that lighten the load rather than add to it. If you’re involved with a rescue organization and want to explore something together, I’d love to hear from you.
I'm thrilled to be currently partnering with Adopt Korean Rescue on their 2027 Calendar Contest.

Want to Work with Me?
I started taking photographs because I also like being outdoors with my dog and wanted to capture her in all the places we walked. Learn more about me here.
I take on a limited number of sessions to keep the work intentional and unhurried.

We had a fantastic experience with Kim. She made us feel completely at ease, which was especially important for my reactive and sometimes unpredictable dog. Her creative eye captured Inde’s unique personality in a way that felt natural and true. The final images exceeded our expectations — we couldn’t be happier and will cherish them for years to come. - Adriane
